Behind the Product
Big Chutes. Bigger Drops. Steep Faces.
Big mountains beckon, and the Burton Family Tree Straight Chuter Splitboard sets the standard for hard-charging control in remote terrain. Inspired by the hard-charging style of Burton rider Danny Davis, the Straight Chuter is built for speed with the stability, and aggressiveness to ride the lines others won't.
Product Features
- Directional Camber Bend
A blend of camber under both feet and a rockered nose maintains stability through variable conditions and plenty of float in soft snow.
- Twin Stance Meets Directional Float
The board's Freeride Directional Shape centers your stance for a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge it turns tight and quick with the soft snow float and feel of a directional deck.
- Extra Taper
A full 18mm of taper keeps the turns coming with ease in all conditions.
- Freeride Focus
Family Tree boards are designed to feed the freeride mindset, and the Straight Chuter Split is the board of choice when you need hard-charging control for remote big mountain lines.
